James E. Lee, 77, passed away on February 16, 2001 in Salt Lake City.

Born July 12, 1923 in Rose Creek, Kansas to Homer and Gertrude Sanders Lee.

He married Juanita Ernstsen on December 2, 1945 in Ogden. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died August 7, 1996.

He was a member of the LDS Church and worked at the Utah Pie Co., Al Harris Co., and Trane Co.

Survived by his children, Bonnie (Mark) Andreas, Ely, Nevada; Gloria (Fred) Elmen, West Valley City; James Jr. (Jodeane) Lee, Kearns; and Stanley (Kathy) Lee, Taylorsville; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ruth Brooks, Post Falls, Idaho; and Dorothy (Jim) Newberry, Burley, Idaho. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Edwin.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2001 at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), where friends may call on Monday, February 19, 2001 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
