Born in Providence, RI, on August 26, 1969, he was the son of Chester Barlow and Marie Cortellessa Barlow.
Brian worked as a roofer with Manchester Roofing Company of Newport.
Brian was also an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Cortellessa.
He is survived by his companion, Dorothy Stedford of Newport; his mother, Marie Cortellessa Johnson and stepfather Sherwood Johnson of Newport; his father, Chester Barlow of Bristol; his grandmother, Mary Cortellessa of Newport; a brother, Peter Cortellessa of Naples, FL; and a sister, Laurie Rodericks of Newport.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery in Middletown.
