A native of Selmer, he worked as a timber cutter. He was born February 10, 1963 to Tom Burch and Peggy Jean Moore Burch, both of whom preceded him in death. He lived all of his life around this area and among his hobbies were fishing, watching NASCAR and wrestling and playing pool. He got his greatest enjoyment from being around his dog, Bruce, whom he loved dearly.
Survivors include two sisters, Betty Kirk and Carolyn Rickman, both of Hornsby; a brother, Donald Gene Burch of Hornsby; his godmother, Sue Brumley Gean of Savannah; nephews, Terry Wayne Gladish, Brian Gladish, Joseph Gladish, Dustin Gladish, Phillip Beavers, Kirk Burton, Blake and Trey Buntyn and Parker Newman; nieces, Sheila Kirk, Jamie Burton, Chellie Hall, Brandy Zebley, Brianna Beavers and Emily Burton. The family requests memorials be directed to the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
