Jack Burke, Jr. age 82, died on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Doctors' Memorial Hospital in Perry, Florida. He lived most of his life in Perry coming from his home town of Greenville, Florida.
Mr. Burke owned and operated Burke Exterminating Company for 50 years. He graduated with a Master's Degree in Agriculture from the University of Florida. He loved to hunt and fish and was of the Baptist Faith.
Mr. Burke is survived by his wife of 54 years: Betty Burke of Perry; one son: Clyde Burke also of Perry; two daughters: Barbara Burke (and husband Tom) Donnelly of Tallahassee, Florida; and Anne Little (and husband Rich) of Knoxville, Tennessee and seven Grandchildren: Bonnie Batson, Katie Anne Taylor, Jack Little, Savannah Little, William Little, Thomas Little and Ellie Little. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Burke, Sr. and his mother Eunice Reams.
Graveside services were held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Beggs Funeral Home Perry Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
