Graveside Services for Lorene Fulbright, 98, of Athens are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Shelby Chapel Cemetery in Athens with Bro. Don Chapin officiating.

Ms. Fulbright went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 21, 2014 in Athens, Texas.

Lorene Ozell Alexander Fulbright was born May 8, 1916 in Telephone, Texas the daughter of Wiley Fletcher Alexander and Ida Mae Lewis Alexander. She was a dedicated member of the Ash Baptist Church in Athens and truly looked forward to every service. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and loved to sew and iron. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who was very outgoing and never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, L.D. Fulbright, her son, Royce Shafer, her grandson, Cody Neal Yates, a brother and a sister.

She is survived by her three loving children, one brother, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to: Ash Baptist Church, 8613 FM 1616

Arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Family of Athens, Texas.
