Funeral services for Billy Mack Gough, 72, of Midland, were held Tuesday, May 4, at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Jiggs Stowe, minister of Eastside Church of Christ in Newcastle, officiating.

Mr. Gough was born Jan. 26,1932, in Mabelle to the late Romy Erwin and Virginia (Robertson) Gough. He died Thursday, April 29,2004, at his home.

He served in the U. S. Army. Most of his life was spent working in the oil fields of west Texas and Oklahoma. He was affectionately known to family and friends as "Wild Willy." He had lived in Midland for 25 years.

Survivors include four sons; Gary Gough of Brownfield, Randy Gough and wife Rose and Jack Gough, all of Midland and Donnie Gough and wife Lynn of Lubbock; a brother, Robert Gough and wife Malena of Temple; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Michael Gough.
