Mrs. Erwin W. Rusche, 94, nee Elsa Feuge, of Fredericksburg, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2006.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 11, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Beckmann Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Vitek officiating. Dorothy Weinheimer was the organist.
Interment followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Rusche was born June 30, 1912, in the Klein Frankreich community, the daughter of Charles Feuge and Hannah Pape Feuge. She married Erwin Rusche on Dec. 10, 1931, in the Edison Street Methodist Church. He preceded her in death.
Over the years, she had been a rancher, and also worked at Market Produce and Save Inn Motel. She was a long-time member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Cook of Austin, and one grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Rusche was preceded in death by one sister, Lilly Koennecke, and four brothers, including Edgar Feuge, Hugo Feuge, Ortwin Feuge and Lee Feuge.
