Naomi Dail Adams Murphy, 86, of Maury, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at her home. Naomi was born in Lenoir County on April 13, 1928 to Ernest and Ollie Elizabeth Hoover Dail. She is preceded in death by her three husbands.
Naomi was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Kinston and was the bookkeeper for Murphy's Used Cars in Maury.
Survivors include her daughter Margaret Anne Waltimyer and husband John of Maury; and grandchildren, John Wesley Waltimyer, Jr. of Maury, Russell Albert Waltimyer of New Jersey, David Forman and Paul Joyner of Maury.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Westview Cemetery with Reverend Jon Campbell officiating.
