Son of Louis Hebert.

Andrew served as a Private First Class, 26th Infantry, 1st Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Strafford County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on January 28, 1943 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in the manufacture of boots and shoes and also as Single, without dependents.

Andrew was "Killed In Action" in France during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.

His brother, 2nd Lt. Albert R Hebert, was also "Killed In Action" during the war.
