Bobby grew up in Davidson County and was a graduate of North Davidson High School. He was retired from Duke Power. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming and mowing. He was a lifelong member of Bethany United Church of Christ. He was married to Virginia Rae Motsinger and they had two sons. He is survived by his brother, his sons and three grandchildren.
