Gladewater-Funeral services for Pearl Kerksey were held Saturday morning in the Stokes Funeral Home Chapel with Calvin Price, minister of the Waco Church of Christ, officiating.
Interment was in West Mountain Cemetery.
Mrs. Kerksey, 63, was born March 21, 1897, in Henderson County. She had been a resident of this area for more than 35 years and was a member of the West Mountain Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son, Tommy Lee Hill, Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. S.J. Mier of Corpus Christi, and mrs. Faye Yoes of Henderson; four brothers, Lee Pierce of Gladewater; Clarence Pierce of House, N.M., Penn Pierce of Paducah and Bill Pierce of Bakersfield, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Barbara Sturdivant of Mesa, Ariz., Mrs. Rose Baker of Dallas, Mrs. Bertha Burns of Athens and Mrs. Artie Cranor of Glenwood Springs, Colo.
Pallbearers were Denny Ainsworth, Garland Williams, Warwick Branden, Harvey Richardson Jr. and Paul and Gerald Yoes.
