Jack, 89, of Charlotte, MI, died May 24. He was born to Ray A. and Mary E. (Smith) Page.

Jack married his wife, Betty Thompson, on October 24, 1942, at Lawrence Avenue United Methodist Church prior to Jack's service in WWII. Jack served in the U.S. Army as a combat infantryman, and was awarded many service medals, including the Bronze Star, Silver Star and the Purple Heart.

Jack and Betty loved participating in the Senior Bowling League with many of their friends.

Jack is survived by his daughter, Linda (Ralph) Bloomfield of Kalamazoo; son, Jack (Jan) Page of Charlotte; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grand children; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty, and his parents.

The service was held Thursday, May 29, 2014 from at Pray Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Wales officiated.

Memorials are suggested to the Eaton Community Palliative Care. .
