Mr. Leach had been an ordained minister for 42 years having pastored several churches in this area. He had a radio broadcast for 30 years. Preceded in death by father and mother: Rev. Harrison and Pearl Bruce Leach.
Survived by wife: Alice Leach of LaFollette; son and daughter-in-law: David and Betty Leach of LaFollette; daughter and son-in-law: Deanna and Scoby Asbury of Jacksboro; brothers: JB and Bill Leach both of LaFollette; sisters: June James of Chattanooga, Jewell Winstead of LaFollette, Evelyn Bailey of Speedwell, Margie Ford of Speedwell; grandchildren: Lynn Leach and Cindy Pierce; great grandchildren: Carly and Alex Leach and Chloe Pierce. Pallbearers: Marvin Ford, Jimmy Mack Pierce, Roger and Greg Leach, Donny and Chris Perry. Honorary Pallbearers will be ministers of the area.
Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Ford Town Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Dupuy, Rev. Don Reynolds and Rev. Alvis Richardson officiating. Interment will be 11:00 AM Thursday in Bakers Forge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday night at the church before funeral services. Martin Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
