Forney Man Found Dead Beside Track
Merger information was received here today of the finding of the dead body of Jack Bennett, Forney farmer, on the Texas and Pacific right-of-way, just west of Brushy Creek this morning. There was little evidence of mutilation of the body by a passing train, but a portion of his body was apparently scalded.
Mr. Bennett was about 60 years of age an a tenant on the farm of John McKellar, near Forney. He is survived by his wife and several children. The funeral service will be held at Forney this afternoon at 4 o'clock.
