CHRISTOPHER T. RUDOLPH Aged 79, of Loretto, died suddenly at noon Saturday as he was sitting in the chair of a barber shop. He was born at Pittsburgh, Dec. 28, 1850, and had resided at Loretto since his parents, Adam and Louise Rudolph, moved there in 1851. For more than fifty years he had been engaged as a farmer and butcher but for the past five years he lived retired. He was twice married, both wives preceding him in death. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Melhorn, Walter and Edward Rudolph of Loretto, and Sister Mary of Nazareth of the Order of Mercy; two brothers and one sister, one of whom, Mrs. Louise Conrad resides in Altoona. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic church and had served as councilman for several years. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning with requiem mass at 9 o’clock in St. Michael’s church.
