Judy Lavonne Beard, 55, of Oak Grove, MO passed away, Thursday, May 22, 2014 at St. Luke's East Hospital. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the Lakeview Pentecostal Church 217 SE South Avenue, Blue Springs, MO 64014. Burial will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Monday at the Lakeview Pentecostal Church. Donations may be made in her name to the Lakeview Pentecostal Church. Judy was born August 22, 1958 in Kansas City, MO to Thomas and Kathryn (McDaniel) Gann and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and homemaker who enjoyed shopping, sewing and most of all spending time with family. She was a life member of the Lakeview Pentecostal Church. She was very active participant in the MS Society and sharing her personal story. She was married to Patrick Beard on February 11, 1984; He survives of the home. Other survivors include; 2 sons, Jacob and Joseph Beard of the home; a sister Sandy Cole of Independence, MO and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
