Marvin graduated from Hennessey High School in 1937. He married Helen Larsen
in Kingfisher on May 28, 1942. Marvin served in the U. S. Army Air Corps in
WWII. He was a clerk and rural mail carrier at the Hennessey Post Office for
twenty-nine years. Marvin was a member of the First United Methodist Church
and Coronado Masonic Lodge #56.
Marvin is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Mead and husband Eldon of
Ramstein, Germany; two grandsons, Brent Mead of Tulsa, Dusten Mead of Ogden,
Utah; one granddaughter, Adina Mead of Ramstein, Germany; two
great-grandchildren, Montana and Sladen Mead.
Marvin was preceded in death by his wife Helen; one brother and one sister.
