She was born May 27, 1894, at McKenzie, Tenn., the daughter of James P. and Frances Griffin Campbell.
On Nov. 29, 1914, she married Herman C. Maxey, he preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1955.
She had resided in Mississippi County for the past 45 years. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving is a son, Herman Maxey; a daughter, Lorene Dickson; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and a number of great-great-grandchildren.
Three sons and two daughters also preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held Friday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery here.
