HITE FUNERAL TODAY
Funeral services for James J. Hite, 70, retired farmer and stock trader, will be held at 11 o'clock this morning at the Berryville Methodist church. The Rev. W. H. Adkins will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Mr. Hite died Wednesday night at the home of his niece, Mrs. W. A. Close, Goodlettsville, following a long illness. He was born near Old Hickory, and was a member of the Berryville Methodist church.
He is survived by his niece, Mrs. Close; one sister, Mrs. Martha Jane Vaughn, of Goodlettsville, and two grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Clifton Judd, Ralph Armstead, Ed Duke, Frank Duke, Tom Martin and Bell Smith.
