Obituary from The Deseret News (Salt Lake City, UT) - 17 May 1995:

Born in Logan, Utah, on October 16, 1926, Connie Kloepfer Turner died in Sandy, Utah, on May 16, 1995. Having suffered from rheumatic fever-caused heart problems at age 13, she nevertheless raised a family of four children. She was also the grandmother of 22 and great-grandmother of one. Her death was ultimately attributed to her heart condition.

Having attended Logan High School, she married Lowell G. Turner, also of Logan, in 1946. She is survived by her husband and four children, Craig L. Turner, Cindi Webb, Pamela Thompson, Patti Montgomery.


Connie's passions were her family, friends, and church activity. Her final mission was her service as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple. She had previously served in the Los Angeles Temple and in numerous church positions.

The Turner family moved from Logan to Southern California in 1952. There their children were raised in Lakewood, Canoga Park, and Hidden Hills. In 1992 they returned to Utah, settling in the Pepperwood community of Sandy. She was dearly loved by her family and all of her friends. She will be sorely missed.


Funeral services will be held at the Crescent 13th Ward (Pepperwood Chapel) located at 2135 East Pepperwood Dr., Sandy, Utah, at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 20. Friends may call at the Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 So. State, Sandy, from 6 to 8 Friday evening or at 12 noon, prior to the funeral on Saturday. Interment: Sunset Gardens Cemetery, Sandy, Utah.
