William was born October 27, 1939 in Muncie, the son of Raymond and Lula (Young) Keihn. He worked as a dump truck driver for Muncie Paving Company and the Teamsters. William enjoyed fishing and camping and loved animals.
Survivors include his children, Charles Brown, Rhonda Cantu, Rick Brown, William Keihn Jr. (wife-Darla), Kenny Keihn (wife-Mary), and John Keihn; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dolly Patton, Francis Austin, and Margie Rondot; his friend and caretaker, Donna Keihn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bobby, Jack and Johnny Keihn; and three sisters, Vivian Spurlock, Mildred Jones and Helen Pace.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Ave., Muncie. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to extend special thanks to Christy and Kyle with I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospice for the care they gave to William.
