Virginia Spears, age 92, of Shelbina, MO, passed away at the home of her daughter in Franklin, WV.
She was the daughter of Nolan and Corlia Lafferty McCarthy. On January 14, 1940, she married Walter F. Spears, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Leo, James and Donald McCarthy.
Virginia was a graduate of Chillicothe High School. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shelbina and St. Mary's Altar Society. She enjoyed playing bridge. Virginia loved the time she spent with her family and truly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
