Mr. Adams was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II, was part of the Normandy Beach invasion, and recipient of the Purple Heart. He retired with 39 years of service from General Motors Material Dept. After retirement he and his wife loved to travel and were members of several Air Stream Clubs. He was Baptist by faith.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be Thursday, April 26, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Dexter Landers officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Ga.
