In Memory of Rachel (Davis) Sutton, wife of John Sutton who was the son of Cornelius Sutton and Elizabeth Appelgate. Rachel was born July 25, 1792 in Pennsylvania and died April 26, 1853 in Salem, Harrison Co., West Virginia. She was the daughter of William "Greenbrier Billy" Davis and Elizabeth (Johnston) Sutton, and she, as well as John Sutton, were members of the New Salem Seventh Day Baptist Church. Both had contirbuted widely to the enlargement and enrichment of the Church and the Kingdom of Heaven. God Bless them both and may they rest in peace in their rewards.
