Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Drs. George and Angie Rakes, Dr. Steven and Popie Rakes; daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Richard Rizza; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brother, Gust Rakes and wife Joanne.
The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Friday, May 23rd, with Trisagion (Prayer Service) at 7 pm, both at the West Center Chapel, 7805 West Center Road, Omaha, Nebraska. Services 9 am Saturday, May 24th at All Holy Spirit Greek Orthodox Church, 9012 "Q" St. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to All Holy Spirit Greek Orthodox Church.
