"Mildred Glee (Edison) Wolfe

THREE OAKS Mildred Glee (Edison) Wolfe, 87, of Three Oaks, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 6, 1999, at North Collier Hospital, Naples, Fla., after a short illness.

Funeral services will be held at I p.m. Tuesday at Pobocik Funeral Home Connelly-Noble Chapel, Three Oaks, with Pastor William Crowder officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Three Oaks. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Crippled Children of Michigan.

Mildred was born July 10, 1911, in South Bend, Ind., to Leo and Pearl (Kiefer) Edison. She graduated from South Bend Central High School, Class of 1929. On Jan. 10, 1931, she married John Sherland Wolfe in South Bend, and moved to Three Oaks in 1947. Mildred enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her two daughters --Joyce Arlene Wolfe Vajdai and Joan Glee Wolfe Scheer. She was a charter member of the Three Oaks Community Service Club and a member of the former Three Oaks Book Club. Her hobbies included gardening, traveling and being with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Joan (Dennis) Scheer of Three Oaks; three grandchildren Denise (Mike) Aumack of Kalamazoo, Mich., Darrin Scheer of Three Oaks, and Jennifer Vajdai of Niles; a great-granddaughter, Alexis Aumack of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and a sister, Maxine Mann of South Bend, Ind. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Sherland Wolfe; a daughter, Joyce Vajdai; a great-grandson, Chandler Dennis Aumack; two sisters Evelyn Benn and Marguerite Smith; and by a brother, Leo R.
