Brandon H. Sharp, age 37, passed away suddenly on May 20, 2014.
Brandon was born in York on November 28, 1976. He graduated from York Vo-Tech class of 1996. He worked for Yorktown Paperboard, Worthington Steel, Strine Printing and most recently for Graham Packaging in York as a machinist. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed motorcycles, four wheeling and dirt bikes but cherished the time he spent with his children and his family.
He is survived by his daughter Lacey Sharp and her mother Denise Messersmith of York; his son Timothy Sharp and stepson Steven Dunham and their mother Robin Rabenstine of York; his mother Stephanie L Sharp and companion Mark Altland of Spring Grove; his sister Kristen Sharp of Seven Valleys and his niece Kendra Sharp and his maternal Grandmother Yvonne McCaffrey. He is also survived by his aunt Pamela Goodling; his cousin Gabriel Goodling and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Tim H. Sharp in 1990; his maternal grandfather Earl Goodling and his paternal grandparents Harry and Marriam (Eckert) Sharp.
A funeral service in celebration of his life will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 175 N Main St Spring Grove with Rev. Larry McConnell officiating. Interment will follow at St. Jacobs Union Cemetery in York New Salem.
