Marlene Pearl Creger Wallace, 67, of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014.

Born in Pontiac, MI, she was the daughter of the late J.V. Creger and Margaret Joan Lash Creger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ray Wallace who passed away in 2011 and granddaughter, Ashleigh Nicole Moore. Marlene had a love for quilts, reading and being outdoors. She was a member of Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher.

She is survived by two children, Wendy Wallace Moore and husband Sean and Bobby Wallace and wife Bobbie Sue of Whittier, NC; seven brothers and sisters, Mike Creger and wife Kathy of Utica, MI, Dan Creger and wife Carolyn of Leonard, MI, Bill Creger and wife Stephanie of Clarkston, MI, Pat Pouttu and husband Ed of Pelkie, MI, Marty Creger and wife Janet of Clarkston, MI, Deb Moore and husband Dave of Waterford, MI and Dennis Creger of Clarkston, MI; two grandchildren, Chris Mills and Patrick Moore and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. David Crunkleton and Rev. Mike Bias will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
