Eugene Overby, 60, of Magee, a retired farmer -McCarty Farms, died Monday, September 6, 1993, of cancer at Magee General Hospital in Magee, Miss.
Services were Tuesday, September 7, 1993 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee with burial in Coat Church Cemetery in Magee. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee handled the arrangements.
Mr. Overby was a native of Simpson County.
Survivors include: wife, Jeanette Overby of Magee; three sons, Elmer Gene Overby and Michael Overby both of Magee and Paul Virgil Overby of Brandon, Florida; one sister. Gladys Spell of Jackson; two brothers, Durwood Overby of Morton and Gatho Overby of Magee; four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
