PAULDING - Richard G. Barnes, 62, a former resident died 10:30 a.m. Friday at Carriage House Nursing Home, Coldwater, Mich., where he had been a patient for several months.
Born here Oct. 30, 1908, he was the son of H. G. and Minnie Higgins Barnes.
He was a World War II Air Force veteran and a Mason.
Survivors include two brothers, Mahlon of Indianapolis and Robert of Coldwater, Mich.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Crowell-DenHerder Funeral Home, Rev. E. Ted Wunder officiating.
Burial will be in Live Oaks Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where Masonic memorial rites will be at 7:30 p.m.
