He was born on December 5, 1944 to the late Fred Marsh and to Edna M. (Wolf) Marsh, who survives in Mulberry. Denny graduated from Dayton High School in 1962.
In 1985, he began an almost 30 year relationship with Judith A. Roland, she survives in Lafayette. He had previously been married twice. Denny was a farmer for life. He had previously worked at Rostone for 15 years. He enjoyed "tinkering", mechanical work, watching his favorite actors (John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Chuck Norris), and agitating the ones he loved.
Surviving with Judy and his mother are his daughter, Janeice Kelp (Richard) of Lafayette; stepsons, Billy Scott (Kelly) of Lafayette and Brad Scott of Indianapolis; stepdaughter, Patty Muthig (Jimmy) of West Lafayette; sisters, Carol Coble (Bill) of Delphi and Nancy Kress (Terry) of Indianapolis; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren with one in the oven.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 23 at 2 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bill Mickler officiating. Interment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel.
