MRS. HENDERSON HONORED BEFORE LEAVING CITY
A farewell gathering was held Wednesday afternoon at the Park Avenue Methodist church in honor of Mrs. Allie Henderson. The affair was attended by 40 women.
The afternoon was spent reminiscing and singing favorite hymns. Two muscical selections were offered by Rev. and Mrs. Stephen Root.
The honoree was presented with a gift. For many years she has been an active worker in the Park Avenue church and a teacher of the womans Bible class. She will make her home with a granddaughter in Michigan.
