Robert Linvall Passes Away
Robert Linvall, an old time and well known resident of this county, died in this city last Saturday morning at the home of his son, from cancer of the stomach, with which he had suffered for a long time. The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Hubschmid of Los Angeles, Mrs. Neva Hildt and Mrs. Lillian Hildt, both of Garden City, Utah and one son, Allen Linvall of Montpelier, and three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Malone of this city, Mrs. Selma Scott and Mrs. Emma Douglas, both of whom reside in California. He also leaves two brothers.
Mr. Linvall was a carpenter and had worked throughout this section for many years, where he had many friends and acquaintances. He was sixty-three years of age.
The funeral services were held at the home of his sister Mrs. Mike Malone, where Pres. Ed c. Rich and Howard Broomhead, both of whom had known Mrs. Linvall since they were boys, spoke and a mixed quartet sang appropriate selections. President Rich dedicated the grave at the cemetery.

John Robert Linvall, age 64 years, died at his home in this city Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. following a brief illness. Mr. Linvall was a well known man about Montpelier, and had resided here for many years and leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn his death. He was born in Salt Lake City, July 16, 1864. Mr. Linvall is survived by four children, Lois, Neva, Allan and Lillian and two brothers, Charles and Luck Linvall of Paris, three sisters, Mrs. Mike Malone, Montpelier; Mrs. John Scott, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Henry Douglas of San Pedro, Calif.
Impressive funeral services were held Monday at 1 o'clock p.m. from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Malone. The services were presided over by Pres. Edward C. Rich, who with Howard H. Broomhead of Murray were the speakers. Three beautiful and appropriate numbers were sang by a quartette composed of Mrs. B. M. Mumford, Mrs. Merlin Stephens, H. Herman Hoff and B. M. Mumford. The opening prayer was offered by Morgan J. Rich and the benediction by H. Herman Hoff. Pres. Ed. C. Rich dedicated the grave. The funeral was conducted by Undertaker F. M. Williams.
