Fletcher (Staff) -- Services for Charley "Boss" Rich, 82, of Fletcher[, Oklahoma], who died Friday [14 Jan 1972] in a Lawton[, Oklahoma] hospital, will be 2 pm Monday [17 Jan 1972] in the First Baptist Church of Fletcher.

Rev. A. L. Swagerty, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in [the] Fletcher Cemetery under [the] direction of Robbins Funeral Home.

Mr. Rich was born in Texas and grew up near Ryan, Okla[homa]. He settled east of Fletcher in 1917 where he farmed until his retirement in 1956. He moved to Fletcher following retirement.

He married Eliza Virginia Carter [on] Dec[ember] 22, 1912 in Ryan[, Oklahoma]. She died [on] April 29, 1959 [Note: Her headstone indicates DOD as April 8, 1958.] He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fletcher.

Survivors include one son, Lloyd Rich of...Cement[, Oklahoma]; two daughters, Mrs. Tommy Hartline...[of] Lawton[, Oklahoma] and Mrs. Jim Reever...[of] Cement[, Oklahoma]; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Samples of Wichita Falls, Tex[as]; Six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
