Marilyn Helena Pozzi Maloney entered into heaven peacefully on May 20, 2014 in San Francisco. Marilyn was born and raised on a ranch in Sonoma County. Distinguished graduate of St. Mary's College of Nursing Class of 1950 and a dedicated nurse for 25 years at UCSF. Marilyn's joy was her family and she was an energetic mother and grandmother who took an active role in raising her eight grandchildren. Marilyn enjoyed gardening, Sonoma country life and treasured her extended family. Marilyn was organic and green before it became common.

We were blessed for having her as our Mom and are thankful for all that she did for us. She never missed a family party and will live on in our hearts forever. Survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Cornelius Maloney and cherished children Patricia (Richard), Kathleen, Nancy (William), Gerilyn (Matthew) and James (Vanessa). Proud and loving grandmother to Stephen (Clare), Christopher, Katelyn, Kevin, Mary, Kelly, Sydney and Scarlett.
