Architect. Educated in architecture at the Drexel Institute of Technology, he went on to earn a master’s degree in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1911, he moved to Los Angeles, California and became a partner in the firm of Morgan, Walls, Morgan and Clements, Architects in 1923. He started his our firm architectural practice based in Los Angeles, in 1937. There he became noted Art Deco figure and contributor for his drawings of the Coulter Dry Goods Company Department Stores, the Design Collection at the Architecture Museum and University of California. He also designed many of area’s land mark buildings to include Samson Uniroyal Tire Factory, Dominguez-Wilshire Building, Auditorium for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, Dominguez-Wilshire Building and Leimert Cinema.
