RED BAY, Ala. - Eva Winchester Henson, 75, died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born March 1, 1930, in Franklin County, Ala., to Will and Annie Fennel Winchester. She was a former employee of Blue Bell in Red Bay and a member of Pleasant Site Church of Christ and Cedar Creek Valley Women's Club. She loved flowers. Everyone who met her, loved her.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Dayton Martin officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Site Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Herbert Henson of Red Bay; one daughter, Conita Grigsby and husband, Steve, of Memphis; three sons, Donald Henson and wife, Joyce, of Vina, Ala., Rickey Henson and wife, Scarlot, of Athens, Ala., and Nicky Henson and wife, Diane, of Red Bay; one brother, Richard Winchester and wife, Mavis, of Red Bay, Ala.; eight grandchildren, Anthony Henson, Clay Henson, Chris Henson, Chasidy Henson, Mandi Henson, Adam Henson, Garrett Henson and Tara Henson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant siblings.
Pallbearers will be Clay Henson, Chris Henson, Adam Henson, Garrett Henson, Todd Henson and Dexter Winchester.
