Daniel A. Haase, 53, of Fostoria, passed away 12:24 pm Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Toledo Hospital. He was born January 8, 1961 in Fostoria to Carl W. and Janet L. (Kirian) Haase, and they survive in Fostoria. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Chuck E. (Sandy) Haase, Swanton, Kevin L. Haase, Texas, Diane K. (Denny) Garlick, Findlay, Jeff A. (Kelly) Haase, Findlay, Karen S. (Cliff) Seeley, Fostoria and Steven W. Haase, Dayton; along with many nieces and nephews. Dan was a 1979 graduate of Fostoria High School and member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church. He was a Vikings fan and will be remembered for his unique humor. Visitation is Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 3-8 pm at HOENING FUNERAL HOME 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, where a Christian Wake service will be held at 7:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Monday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, where a Rosary will be prayed at 10 am. Burial will follow in Fountain Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Christopher Reeves Foundation for spinal cord research or a charity of the donor's choice.
