Mary Pinkston, 79 of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at her home. she was born Aug. 17, 1933, in Daviess County Kentucky. to the late Felix and Unis Edgell Goins. she was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and friends. especially her grandchildren. she also enjoyed going on car trips, raising flowers and loved her pets. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "C. W." Pinkston Sr,. on March 2, 2001; two daughters, Patsy Gail Jones, and Debbie Logsdon; and a sister, Ruby. Surviving are two sons, Joseph (Beverly) Goins Sr. of Evansville, Indiana. and Orville Ray (Teresa) Crowe of Owensboro, Kentucky; a stepson, Charles V. Pinkston Sr. of Owensboro, Kentucky; five daughters, Mary Lee (Matthew) Gray of Roseville, Holly Carol Runkle of Frankfort, Kentucky; and Linda Fay Brown, Beverly Brown and Rita (Roger) Rice, all of Owensboro, Kentucky; 21 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret Knight of Evansville, Indiana, Florence Chappell of Panther and Janet Pence of Utica, Kentucky; and three brothers, Buddy White, and Jimmy White both of Evansville, Indiana, and Junior Pate of Owensboro, Kentucky. Services will be at 2:00 p. m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens, Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
