THEODORE J. MURRAY Age 86, passed away unexpectedly at home May 13, 2014. Ted was born Feb 17, 1928, in Dilley, Texas, the second youngest of 10 siblings. He graduated from Polytechnic High School and San Bernardino Valley College. Ted married his wife of 64 years Evelyn T. Murray on May 13th, 1950. He is survived by his wife Evelyn; 3 children Ted Jr. (Patti), Cathy (Steve), David; daughter-in-law Connie, and 6 grandchildren (Adria, Jeralyn, Kevin, Melisa, Peter, and David). He was preceded in death by his youngest son, James. Ted had several careers: auto mechanic shop owner, aerospace engineer, and building contractor. Ted was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, having served in the Calif Natl Guard and US Army in Korea and Japan, attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. Dad was an avid fisherman, hunter, and was always working on a home improvement project, but what he loved most was spending time with family and friends. Funeral service: Wednesday, June 25th, 10:30AM, Riverside National Cemetery. Published in Press-Enterprise from June 18 to June 22, 2014
