Services for Joe David Curtis age 57 will be Friday July 17, 2009 at 11:000 am at McKenzie Funeral Home with Rev Larry Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Thursday July 16, 2009 for 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday July 17, 2009 from 8:00 am until service time. Mr. Curtis, a farmer and the past Superintendent for The City of McKenzie Public Works Department, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at The Regional Medical Center in Memphis. He was born on July 1, 1952 in Milan, TN to John and Frances Townes Curtis. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Cemetery board and a member of the McKenzie VFW post 4939. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Jerry Curtis and Mack Curtis.

Survivors include his wife Rikke Bouldin Curtis, a daughter Jeana Curtis, a son Johnathan Curtis all of McKenzie and one sister Carol Weldon of Hawaii.
