Cumberland Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Sunday, February 14, 1937: "Frostburg, Feb. 13-Timothy C. Cullen, 79, retired miner, died at 9 o'clock tonight at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Peter Narey, Mill street, of pneumonia. He was born in Westernport but had lived here since boyhood. He also leaves five other daughters, Mrs. Samuel Morgan, Frostburg; Mrs. Mary Anthony Baltimore; Mrs. John Bryson, Midland; Miss Genevieve Cullen, Pitcairn, Pa., and Mrs. George Meyers, Hanover, Pa., and four sons, John, of Midland; Patrick, of Washington, D. C.; Timothy, of Wright's Crossing, and Brian Cullen, Baltimore. Mr. Cullen was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church."

Cumberland Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Wednesday, February 17, 1937: "Frostburg--The funeral of Timothy Cullen, Sr., who died Saturday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Peter Narey, Mill street, was held Tuesday morning from St. Michael's Catholic Church and was very largely attended. Rev. Patrick J. Bradley, S. T. B., rector, celebrant of the requiem high Mass, also delivered the funeral discourse. Rev. John J. Brennan, pastor of St. Joseph's Church, Midland, was in the sanctuary. Burial in the parish cemetery.

NOTE: He was the son of John Cullen and Elizabeth O'Toole.
