Columbus, GA- Mrs. Selma Frost, 99 of Columbus, Georgia died Sunday morning, January 5, 2014 at Azalea Trace Nursing Home in Columbus, Georgia.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Striffler-Hamby in the Mill Room. Visitation will be before the service from 12:30 until 1:30 in the St. Elmo Room.
Mrs. Frost was born June 4, 1914 in Pike County, Alabama. Her mother and father were Mattie Florence Phenix and John Thomas McKenzie. She moved to Columbus, Georgia in 1928, married William Taft Frost on August 8, 1931 in Seale, Alabama. Mrs. Frost had 6 children, Billy Gene Frost, Sr. (deceased), Nolan Frost (Jean), Roland Frost (Juvelle), Jack Frost (Kay), Louise Moats, Pam Goff (Bill). Mrs. Frost is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Frost was a home maker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She lived in Mooreville, Mississippi for 12 years, she moved to Mooreville in 1990 until 2002 before moving back to Columbus.
