Derrick Brown, 28, of Spokane, Washington, (formerly of Melba, Idaho) passed away on May 13, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Nampa West L.D.S. Stake Center located at 1500 Smith Ave, Nampa with burial to follow at the Melba Cemetery. There will be a viewing for family and close friends at the church from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Derrick was born September 14, 1985 in Nampa, ID to Darwin and Diane Miller Brown. He attended school in Melba for three years, then the family moved to Prosser, WA where Derrick graduated from Prosser High School in 2004. Derrick was a very hard worker and did whatever it took to get the job done. Derrick worked at Young's Market and was very well liked by everyone there. When not at work, he liked to shoot, hike, and anything "outdoors". He also loved his video games.
Derrick is survived by his parents Darwin and Diane; four siblings: Darla Brown of Melba, Darron (Stephanie) Brown of Nampa, Dusty (John) Everton of Nampa and Devin Brown of Prosser, Washington and 3 nieces: Samantha, Alexis and Madison and 2 nephews Maddox and Landin.
