Norma Jean Austin (Henderson), 81, from Wagoner, passed away May 18, 2014 at her home.

Born on September 12, 1932 in Haskell, Oklahoma. Jean will be forever missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Austin of Wagoner, Oklahoma, and parents Maudie and Granville Henderson of Haskell, Oklahoma.

Jean is survived by two daughters, Cheri Brandi and Christine Chappell, both from Orlando, Florida, three grandchildren, Kelly Felton, Lindsey Moskaluk, James Moskaluk, and three step-children, Darin Austin, David Austin and Deborah Young all of Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Jean leaves us with the utmost respect for the special person she was, her dedication to her nursing profession as an LPN, and her amazing passion for always helping other people. Her love for her animals and friends were never ending and she always had encouraging words for everyone she knew. She was simply one of the sweetest people who will be missed beyond words by all whom have been blessed to know her.

Funeral services will be intrusted to Shipman Funeral Home at 11 a.m. May 29th, in Wagoner. She will rest in peace forever at her burial which will follow at Haskell Cemetery.
