Sarah Harvey Archer, 71, of Amarillo, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 17, 2013.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 22, 2013, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with the Rev. Nick Kendall officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Sarah was born July 2, 1942, in Amarillo, TX to Hilliard and Josephine Harvey. She attended WTAMU where she received her Master's and Ph.D. degrees. She married Ronald Archer on Dec. 2, 1960. She was a virtuous woman, beloved wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Archer of Amarillo; four children, April Byrd of Amarillo, Ronald Archer, Jr. of Amarillo, Leslie Kendall and husband Nick of Kansas City, MO, and Donald Archer and wife Rebecca of Amarillo; and 11 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 21, 2013, at the funeral home.
