WILDORADO - Margaret Juanita LeGrand Fulton, 82, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2011.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Steve Campbell, retired Methodist minister, officiating.

Juanita was born Feb. 10, 1928, in Deaf Smith County to Jim and Nobie Thomas LeGrand. She attended Cliffside and Bushland schools before she graduated from Amarillo High in 1946. She went on to work for Amarillo Livestock Auction and Graham Hoeme Plow.

She married Robert J. Fulton on Aug. 18, 1947, and moved to the farm northeast of Wildorado. After 63 years on the farm, she lived the last few months at Canyonview Estates in Amarillo.

Juanita was active in Eastern Star and home demonstration as well as a past Wildorado PTA president. She was also an avid quilter and member of the Vega United Methodist Church.

She was a wonderful "Neetneet" to her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Marie; and four brothers, Archer, H.D., Fred and George.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Robert "Bob" Fulton; four children, Becky Barclay and husband Don of Vega, Suzanne Van Pelt and husband Jim, and Harry Fulton, all of Amarillo, and Larry Fulton and wife Juliann of Bushland; a sister, Lula Nichols of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Donna Marshall and husband Matt of Vega, and Bobby Van Pelt and Paige Van Pelt, both of Amarillo; a great-grandson, Miles Marshall of Vega; and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be to Wildorado Community Center, P.O. Box 62, Wildorado, TX 79098.

The family will be at 11933 Laramie in North Bushland.
