She was born in Knott County on February 19, 1928 to Ewins Cyrus Cook and Lula Florence Williams Cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - Goldmon Parks; children: Sandal Lae Parks, Theresa Greenwood and Lorne Parks; grandchild: Daryl Parks.
She is survived by her children: Ella M. Stokely, Marlene (Thomas) Dawson and Robin Greer; grandchildren: Anthony (Marlene) Stokely, Melanie (James) Williamson, Adina (Chris) Winczewski, Steven (Jamie) Dawson, Marita Greer; great grandchildren: Mikayla, Alex, Rachel, Paige, Alex, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Aubrey, Tyler, Lukas and Kason.
