Our beloved father and grandfather, Vaughn R. Jensen, died Monday May 12, 2014.

Vaughn was born April 30, 1935 in Joseph, Utah to Rasmus Earl Jensen and Anna Adora Anderson. He married LaWana Kofford December 16, 1957 in Ely, Nevada and their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Utah LDS Temple April 11, 1992. LaWana preceded him in death.

Vaughn was an exceedingly wonderful man. He was a pillar in his community through his quiet service to those around him. He cared about everyone. He was sensitive, gentle, wise and humble. He was always available to help anyone who needed it. He taught his family many special aspects of how to live the example Christ set, as well as great values and important life skills. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing with his dogs. He was a wonderful craftsman and took immeasurable pleasure in working with wood in any way, especially carving. He was active and had a wonderful life with his entire family right up to the end of his mortal life.
