Anita L. (Bell) Costina, 79, of Hollywood, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 under the care of Vitas Innovative Hospice at Memorial Hospital in Pembroke Pines,
Born in Coopers, West Virginia on May 13, 1934, a daughter of Lewis and Edna (Horton) Bell. Raised and educated in West Virginia, Anita moved to Hollywood, Florida in the early 1950's
She was a member of the First Wesleyan Community Church and taught Sunday school for many years. Before her retirement, Anita was a longtime Teacher's Aide at the Pembroke Lakes Elementary School.
Her beloved husband of 52 years, Lloyd Costina died in 2004. Survived by her daughter, Kathy (Robert) Khadaran, two sons, Clayton (Gina) Costina, Danny (Ruth) Costina and five grandchildren. Also survived by three brothers, James, Ervin and Gary, three sisters, Barbara, Carolyn and Marilyn. Preceded in death by a brother, Sherman.
Visitation on Sunday, May 4th from 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 5th at 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Garden Cemetery ~ North.
Anita attended Bramwell High School in Bramwell, WV and was Class of 1952.
